Common Tasks

Account & Profile

Task How To
Create Account Login page → "Sign Up" → Fill form → Verify email
Login Enter email/password → Click "Login"
Reset Password Login page → "Forgot Password" → Follow email instructions
Edit Profile Profile icon → "My Profile" → "Edit Profile" → Make changes → "Save"
Upload Profile Picture Edit Profile → "Upload Picture" → Select image → Save
Change Notification Settings Profile → Settings → Notifications → Adjust preferences → Save
Change Password Profile → Settings → Security → "Change Password" → Enter old and new password

Clubs

Task How To
View Clubs Navigate to "Clubs" in main menu
Join a Club Clubs → Select club → "Join Club" → Submit request → Wait for approval
Create a Club Clubs → "Create Club" → Fill details (name, description, privacy) → "Save"
Leave a Club Club page → "Leave Club" → Confirm
Access Admin Panel Club page → "Admin" or "Manage" button
Update Club Settings Admin panel → "Settings" → Make changes → "Save"

Members (Administrator)

Task How To
View Members Club page → "Members" tab
Invite Member Admin panel → "Invitations" → "Invite Member" → Enter email → Send
Approve Join Request Admin panel → "Join Requests" → Select request → "Approve" or "Deny"
Remove Member Admin panel → "Members" → Select member → "Remove" → Confirm
Change Member Role Admin panel → "Members" → Select member → Change role → Save

Events

Task How To
View Events Club page → "Events" tab
RSVP to Event Event details → "Attend" or "Decline"
Create Event (Admin) Admin panel → "Events" → "Add Event" → Fill details → "Save"
Create Recurring Event (Admin) Create Event → Enable "Recurring Event" → Set pattern → Save
Edit Event (Admin) Admin panel → "Events" → Select event → Make changes → Save
Cancel Event (Admin) Admin panel → "Events" → Select event → "Delete Event" → Confirm

Shifts

View Your Shifts Dashboard → "My Shifts"
View All Shifts Club page → "Shifts" tab
Create Shift (Admin) Admin panel → "Shifts" → "Add Shift" → Fill details → Assign members → Save
Edit Shift (Admin) Admin panel → "Shifts" → Select shift → Make changes → Save

Fines

View Your Fines Dashboard → "My Fines"
Pay a Fine Fine details → "Pay Fine" → Confirm (note: actual payment is offline)
View All Fines (Admin) Admin panel → "Fines"
Create Fine Template (Admin) Admin panel → "Fine Templates" → "Add Template" → Fill details → Save
Issue Fine (Admin) Admin panel → "Fines" → "Add Fine" → Select member → Fill details → Save
Mark Fine as Paid (Admin) Admin panel → "Fines" → Select fine → Update status to "Paid" → Save

News

View News Dashboard → "News Feed" or Club page → "News"
Create News Post (Admin) Admin panel → "News" → "Add News" → Write post → "Publish"

Quick Navigation Tips

Finding the Main Menu

The main navigation can be in different locations: - Desktop: Left sidebar or top horizontal menu - Mobile: Tap hamburger menu (☰) in top-left corner - Collapsed: Look for expand arrow or menu icon

Common Menu Items

  • Dashboard - Your home page
  • Clubs - List of clubs
  • Profile - Your profile and settings

Finding Admin Features

Admin features are only visible to club administrators: 1. Navigate to your club 2. Look for: - "Admin" button - "Manage" or "Manage Club" option - Settings gear icon (⚙️) - Admin tab

What Members Can Do

Common Status Indicators

Event RSVPs

When you RSVP to an event, your response will be one of: - Yes - You're attending - No - You're not attending
- Maybe - You're tentative (if available)

If you haven't RSVP'd yet, the event will show as pending or no response depending on the view.

Fines

  • 🔴 Unpaid - Fine not yet paid
  • 🟢 Paid - Fine has been paid

Shifts

Shifts display their date, time, assigned members, and associated event. Check the shift schedule to see upcoming and past shifts.

Invitations

Invitations appear in your invitations list while pending. Once you accept or decline an invitation, it's removed from the list.
