Civo offers flexible subscription plans designed to meet the needs of clubs of all sizes, from small hobby groups to large organizations. Each plan builds on the previous tier, adding more features and capacity.

- Best for: Medium-sized clubs like sports teams
- Description: Full feature set including shifts and recurring events
Pro Plan
- Price: Custom pricing based on organization size
- Best for: Large organizations managing multiple clubs
- Description: Unlimited capacity with organization-level features

Club Customization
Customize which features are enabled for your club. Standard plan and above can toggle features on/off based on their needs (e.g., disable fines if not needed).

Free Plan Limitations
Free plan clubs cannot customize feature toggles. All core features (members, events, fines) are always enabled to ensure basic functionality.
Advanced Features (Plus Plan and Above)
Shifts & Scheduling
Organize and assign member shifts for club activities. Perfect for volunteer organizations, sports clubs with rotations, or any club that needs to schedule member duties.

Recurring Events
Create events that repeat on a schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.). Ideal for regular meetings, training sessions, or recurring activities.

Capacity Limits
Each plan has different capacity limits for members and administrators:

Understanding Member Roles
- Owner: The club creator with full control (counts as admin)
- Admin: Can manage club settings, members, and all features (counts toward admin limit)
- Member: Regular member without administrative privileges
Exceeding Limits
When your club reaches its member or admin limit, you cannot add more until you: - Remove existing members/admins, or - Upgrade to a higher plan
Payment and Billing
Payment Options
- Monthly: Pay month-to-month with the flexibility to cancel anytime
- Annual: Pay yearly and receive 1 month free (pay for 11 months, get 12 months of service)
Per-Club Pricing
Each club requires its own subscription (except for Pro tier organizations which can manage multiple clubs under one subscription).

Pro tier pricing is customized based on your organization's size and needs. Contact us for a quote.
Upgrading Your Plan
To upgrade your club to a higher plan:
- Navigate to your club's admin panel
- Click "Settings" → "Plan & Billing"
- Select your desired plan
- Complete the payment process
- Your new features are immediately available
Plan Upgrades
When you upgrade, new features become immediately available. Any previously restricted content (like news posts) becomes accessible right away.
Downgrading Your Plan
When you downgrade to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period:
- Timing: Downgrades are applied at the end of your billing cycle (not immediately)
- Data preservation: Your existing data is preserved but may become inaccessible once the downgrade takes effect
- Example: News posts created on Standard plan remain in the database but can't be viewed after downgrading to Free plan
- Capacity enforcement: Once the downgrade takes effect, if you exceed the new plan's limits (members/admins), you'll need to remove members before adding new ones
Capacity Limits After Downgrade
If your member count exceeds the new plan's limit after downgrade, you won't be able to add new members until you're under the limit. Existing members are not automatically removed.
Feature Toggles vs Plan Features
It's important to understand the difference between features that are plan-restricted and features that are toggleable:
Plan-Restricted Features
These features are only available if your plan supports them. You cannot enable them through settings if your plan doesn't include them:

- Shifts & Scheduling
- Recurring Events
Toggleable Features
These features can be turned on/off in club settings (on Standard plan and above): - Events - Fines - News (if available on your plan) - Shifts (if available on your plan)
Free Plan Toggle Restrictions
Free plan clubs cannot toggle features. Core features (events, fines) are always enabled, and premium features are not available.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I try a paid plan before committing?
Currently, there is no free trial period. However, you can start with the Free plan to explore the platform, then upgrade when you're ready for more features.
What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel a paid subscription, your club reverts to the Free plan. Data remains in the database but features unavailable on Free plan will be inaccessible.
Can I upgrade/downgrade at any time?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time: - Upgrades: Take effect immediately - new features are available right away - Downgrades: Take effect at the end of your current billing period - you keep access to features until then
Do you offer discounts for non-profit organizations?

How does the Pro plan work?
The Pro plan is designed for organizations managing multiple clubs. It offers custom pricing, unlimited capacity, and organization-level features. Contact us for more information.
